Dr. Air Hawke
Hiya! I’m Dr. Air!
…and I’m not your average chiropractor! I believe that anyone who has a spine should receive chiropractic care, and have fun doing so!
I started chiropractic care as a kid when I was diagnosed with scoliosis. With 32° of curvature changing the shape and strength of my spine, my life was becoming less and less of what it should have been. My parents took me to see a chiropractor, and my life was changed!
As much as I wish I could say that was the moment I knew I’d be a chiropractor, I can’t. I was pretty lost in life during college and even following graduation, but ended up feeling so passionate and fulfilled in helping kids with Autism as a behavioral therapist. Still, I knew there was more I could be doing to make an impact in the world.
When COVID-19 shut the world down, I finally slowed down enough to start corrective care at Adjusting the World Chiropractic in Huntersville, NC. Dr. Stacey Rodsater empowered me while navigating my own healing journey, and I felt my spirit come alive in a way I never knew possible.
A few months later on Labor Day Weekend 2020, I was hit by a boat driven by a drunk driver. All I can say is angels are real, and I realized I couldn’t waste any time with this new lease on life. I know I survived that collision because my nervous system was able to adapt to such a major trauma, thanks to the chiropractic care I’d been receiving. I realized God put me on this earth to serve people by reclaiming their power through chiropractic, just like I had.
All that being said, I’m a big believer that we all deserve to live our lives to the fullest! Life is too short to experience or express any of it in lower qualities or quantities than is our birthright.
When I’m not restoring life forces to my community, you can catch me working out, walking with Dr. Tyler, surfing or playing at the beach, or cuddling Dogtor Storm or our kittens, Malfoy and Monty. If you see me out in the wild, please say hi! Can’t wait to meet you!

Dr. Tyler Hawke
Hey! I’m Dr. Tyler Hawke
Chances are, I am a lot like you. I was first introduced to chiropractic not because I was chasing health—but because I was in pain. At 12 years old, I had a severe spasm in my neck and upper back while pitching in a baseball game. Thankfully, a family on my team referred me into their chiropractor. I went to see Dr. Colleen Lusti and she found the exact areas in my spine that had caused the injury and spams to occur.
In my senior year of high school, another chiropractor, Dr. Tommy John, spoke at my baseball practice. Everything he said centered around the idea that your body is designed to be healthy. I started shadowing in his office—and that experience changed the way I saw health entirely.
Not only did he adjust patients—he educated them. He helped them understand their bodies, challenged them to take ownership of their health, and guided them toward making better choices outside the office. He trusted the body’s ability to heal, and because of that, his patients did too.
That experience showed me what was possible—not just for healing, but for people. It made me realize I didn’t just want to help people feel better. I wanted to help them reconnect with their body, understand it, and trust it again.
That’s when everything came together for me. I had already experienced the power of the chiropractic adjustment with Dr. Colleen, and through Dr. TJ, I saw what was possible when people are educated and empowered to take ownership of their health. By the end of my senior year of high school, my life's mission became very clear. I knew that I wanted everyone to experience the benefits of integrating chiropractic care into their life.
I personally receive chiropractic care because I love feeling energized. I love moving my body, feeling good, and being able to surf. I never want to be limited in doing the things that bring me joy. For that reason, I have always found value and enjoyment in prioritizing my health. I want the same for you—to be able to perform the activities that bring you the most joy.
After working over a year with the Graybar Chiropractic team, I have really come to enjoy taking care of people who feel like they have exhausted all other options of getting their health back. With enough time, the right community, and consistent chiropractic care, I have seen people dramatically change their health trajectory and get back to doing the things they love.
If you see me out in the water, exercising with Dr. Air, or at a community event, do not hesitate to say hi. I look forward to meeting you!

Dogtor Storm
Woof woof! I’m Dogtor Storm
I’m a 9 year old certified good girl who loves to hang with my mom and dad at the office while all the healing is happening!
I have been in the wellness game longer than most of my colleagues, and I bring a level of expertise to this office that simply cannot be taught in chiropractic school. My approach is intuitive, my presence is calming, and I have never once turned away a patient who needed a little extra love.
I joined Alive & Swell Chiropractic as Chief Comfort Officer because someone has to hold down the energy of this place, and honestly, no one does it better than me. You will most likely find me behind the desk, on my bed, doing what I do best. Resting. Regulating. Radiating good vibes.
I am not much for grand entrances or dramatic hellos. I prefer to let my presence speak for itself. If you peek behind the desk and catch me mid-nap, please know that is not laziness. That is nervous system mastery.
Science calls it coregulation. I call it my job.
I am a senior dog with a lot of wisdom and absolutely no interest in startling anyone. I am gentle, calm, and completely unbothered by the busyness of the day. I prefer to stay unbothered and in my lane behind the desk, holding space from my corner of the office like the seasoned professional I am.
Dr. Air and Dr. Tyler are wonderful. I allow them to work here.
